2024 Economic Outlook

We have seen an unstable economy for the last year. Interest rates continued to rise in the early part of 2023, inflation is still an issue, the housing market has cooled off and consumer debt continues to rise. The Bank of Canada did halt interest rate hikes in the later part of 2023 so their plan to bring inflation under control seems to be working but what does that mean for 2024? Will rates come down in 2024? Get answers to these and other pressing economic issues on January 16th.

Please join us for an insightful webinar on the Economic Outlook for 2024 with Jean-François Perrault, Senior Vice-President and Chief Economist, Scotiabank.
