ABOUT YOUR SPEAKERS

Carl Davies – Head of Fraud and Identity – Equifax Canada Co.

As Head of Fraud and Identity at Equifax Canada, Carl brings 20 years experience in financial services, specializing in fraud mitigation, risk management and technology platform. With a background in Consulting and Professional Services Leadership, his experience covers industry sectors across North America, the UK and Europe.
Prior to Equifax, Carl held leadership positions at Experian Canada, a technology start-up based in Toronto, and various consulting roles in the UK.


Patrick Boudreau – Head, Identity Management & Fraud – TransUnion Canada

Patrick Boudreau joined TransUnion in March 2020 as Head, Identity Management & Fraud. He has over 23 years of related professional experience in progressively complex roles in Credit Risk, Identity Management and Fraud; including Senior Manager Fraud Strategy (RBC Royal Bank), Senior Fraud Consulting (Equifax) and Senior Director Fraud Management (Presidents Choice Financial). He is a fraud leader with recognized competencies & expertise in consumer identification, authentication & fraud risk ranking strategies; ranging from Financial Services, Fintech, Telecommunication, Auto Lending & Private Sector.
Patrick brings with him ~20 years of deep background specializing in Fraud & Identity management for both Public & Private sector, along with experience creating complex fraud management controls within financial institutions.


Tarundeep Dhot – Associate VP, Canadian Performance Management – TD Bank

Tarundeep Dhot is the Associate Vice President of Canadian Performance Management at TD Bank. In his present role, Tarun manages TD’s Fraud Strategy and Analytics mandate to safeguard financial assets of over 10 million Canadian customers and leads a diverse team of highly skilled experts enabling this vision. He has a global career spanning Banking, Management Consulting and Research. Prior to his current role, Tarun held senior leadership position at IBM, Capco and CIBC and has collaborated with Los Alamos National Laboratory and Google.
Tarun has been recognized as an industry thought leader at global forums and currently sits on multiple Advisory Councils, including Harvard Business Review and Data Science and Analytics programs at York University. He is a frequent speaker at global conferences and a published author. Tarun also advises leading healthcare practitioners globally on leveraging Data and AI to solve the healthcare challenges with a focus on Telehealth and Assistive Technologies.
Tarun holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Concordia University specializing in Artificial Intelligence and Executive training from Harvard University and Columbia Business School.
