received with our topic of "Driving Business in the New Normal" with Carol Gray
and Ken H. Porter.
Our April 2010 meeting, "What is the
impact of new and existing regulations on debt collection practices?" shared by our
guest speakers, Ged Tillman and Michael Cassone of Harrison Pensa LLP.
Our May Event and the final dinner event
of the season included the well known, sought after speaker and commentator on wealth
management, Patricia Lovett-Reid. Like many of you, we recognized that the opportunity to
hear Patricia speak in person was an extremely valuable opportunity. In addition to being
the Senior Vice President of TD Waterhouse Canada Inc., she is also one of Canada's
leading and respected authorities on personal finance. She holds the designation of
Certified Financial Planner and is a regular commentator for Business News Network, CTV,
CP24 and the National on CBC.
Patricia is the host of MoneyTalk, a national prime-time television program on personal
finance and offers daily market commentaries on AM 740.
We were honoured that she accepted our invitation to speak to our Credit Association
members.
