New Board Members

The CAGT was pleased to elect the following three new members to its board of directors. For a complete listing of our board of directors, click here.

a) Shaun J. Stergios, Manager, Retention & Recovery Department, TD Financing Services

Shaun worked in the investment and securities industry for 10 years before joining then VFC Inc. in 2003. From 2003 to 2010 he headed the Legal & Recovery Department liquidating active and written off debt, including fraud and other investigative matters. In addition he was the FCAC and Privacy Officer of the company before its shield changed on 18 January, 2010 to TD Financing Services where his role changed to Retention & Recovery. The logic to the creation of TD Financing Services was, where VFC Inc. concerned itself with non-prime finance, TD Financing Services concerns itself with all of TD Bank Financial Groups indirect lending including prime and non-prime finance.

When the shield changed, the Retention and Recovery Department also changed its focus to customer retention (and goodwill initiatives), as well as collections of active and written off debt.

Shaun is the father of two children, and enjoys the great outdoors.

b) Richard Dunwoody, President and CEO, Dunwoody Group Inc.

Richard is a graduate from the University of Western Ontario. He holds an undergraduate degree in Business as well as Masters Degree in Theology.

Richard has over 22 years in the industry and an extensive background in credit and collections. Richard has worked across Canada and the United States for a number of companies such as F.C.A. (now NCO) and Avco Financial Services where he was Director of Account Management.
