| Instructions for Wrapping Presents
with Small Children With the season of gift giving quickly approaching, we thought some instructions
on how to wrap up your Holiday presents with little ones in tow might be a good idea.
Just follow these simple steps:
- Gather together rolls of wrapping paper, sticky tape,
scissors, ribbon etc in the middle of the lounge room floor.
- Remove roll of sticky tape from child.
- Gather up Christmas presents into a pile.
- Remove roll of wrapping paper from child with one hand
while rubbing the back of your head with the other.
- Roll out wrapping paper and measure out size.
- Remove pair of scissors from childs mouth.
- Cut paper to size.
- Throw away first piece as child crawled across tearing the
paper up the middle.
- Cut a crooked line across wrapping paper with child
hanging onto the other side.
- Give child torn paper to play with while working.
- Remove present from bag.
- Remove child from bag.
- Open present to ensure all is intact.
- Remove present from child, replace broken gift with a
suitable substitute.
- Quickly place box on wrapping and tape first spot.
- Untangle child from long length of sticky tape.
- Take tape roll from childs mouth.
- Give child a pen to hold while you sort out gift tag.
- Take drawn on Christmas paper from wrapped present.
- Repeat steps 4 through 8.
- Take child by the hand and lead towards the front door.
- Take child outside, place in car, drive to dollar store
and buy gift bags instead!
