| Past President's Message Dear CAGT Members and Colleagues,
As my term has come to an end, I'd like to take this
opportunity to say thank you.

Kathy Milne
Past President of CAGT |
It has been a significant highlight of my career and I
sincerely appreciate the support I've had from the CAGT membership and the Board of
Directors. During my term as President, I have had many opportunities to talk, connect and
reflect with our members for which I am grateful.
Many of our careers have morphed over the last couple of
years as a rugged economy has forced us to change the way we think about our profession.
Often, adverse circumstances, such as a nationwide recession, motivate us to make healthy
changes. Here's to a booming economy in the years to come, yet continuing, abundant
opportunities for healthy change.
Our association continues to face many opportunities and
challenges as we continue to advocate for high quality education opportunities for all
members, make and sustain connections with colleagues and professionals and offer support
for the credit community while revisiting our mission with an eye toward new
possibilities.
Seeking to uncover and understand what our members want
from their association will open another window of opportunity that will increase and
sustain the group of individuals who see membership in CAGT as a necessity. Maintaining an
open line of communication with our members will increase the pipeline for new memberships
and retention.
I have thoroughly enjoyed my time as President and look
forward to participate in the new initiatives as I will continue to serve on the CAGT in
the role of past-president.
It has been an honor and a privilege to serve as
President of the Credit Association of Greater Toronto over the past four years. I have
had the benefit of working with a truly dedicated Board of Directors and I thank each of
you for your support and countless hours of service to our community. I realize how this
experience has reaffirmed my belief that "one person or a group of individuals can
make a difference."
Best wishes to you all and thank you for the opportunity
to serve as CAGT President.
Sincerely,
Kathy Milne |
