We are excited to have Mr. Aron Gampel, Vice-President and Deputy Chief Economist of Scotiabank and joining Mr. Gampel, is Andrew Grantham, Senior Economist with CIBC.
The speakers will entertain and enlighten you on their forecast for 2016 covering a wide range of areas including housing, financial markets, indicators and international trends. Time permitting, there will be an opportunity to interact with the speakers on topics related to their presentation and our industry.

<strong>An evening with Aron Gampel & Andrew Grantham</strong>

<strong>Aron Gampel is the Vice-President and Deputy Chief Economist of Scotiabank.</strong> Aron is a senior advisor to the Bank’s executive management, and has wide-ranging responsibilities within the organization, including presenting to Scotiabank’s diverse customer base internationally. He is also a featured Bank spokesperson through a variety of media channels. 
Prior to joining Scotiabank in 1984, Aron spent six years as an economist with the Canadian investment firm of Pitfield Mackay Ross Ltd., and four years with the Ontario Economic Council, both in Toronto. For the past ten years, he has been a Director of the Canadian German Chamber of Industry and Commerce, and currently is the Chair of its Audit Committee. 
Aron is a graduate of York University in Toronto, Ontario, where he received his Master of Arts degree in Economics. He also earned his Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Computer Science from Brock University in St. Catharines, Ontario.

<strong>Andrew Grantham is a Senior Economist with CIBC. </strong> Joining in 2011, he focuses mainly on US economic forecasting and its implications for foreign exchange and fixed income markets. Since joining, he helped CIBC win MarketWatch's monthly contest for US forecasters five times, and is regularly quoted by the print and electronic media. Prior to joining CIBC in 2011, Andrew worked in London, England, for one of the UK's largest banks. He gained a Master's degree in Economics from the University of York, England.
